This is the first in a series of paintings on paper that I started at the beginning of February. The paintings will be in acrylic and will be presented like Japanese scrolls. I am doing this so that I can easily roll my work and take it with me on my journeys.

Here is a diptych from the same series.
This small painting is ready for the Open Studio Auction
The tile is for the Arts Benicia Auction during the Open Studios May 4/5 2013
I have been painting anywhere I can for a very long time. It is quite impossible to always have time to settle down and spend a decent period in my studio, so when there is no alternative I just paint in my head or do quick collages in my sketchbook. Lately I am working on a project where I use a lot of clothes pegs. They are small and portable so I can draw on them wherever I am. I have been drawing on wooden pegs to start with, but now I found that plastic, white ones are much more easier to buy and draw on.
